About the Keyword Search Tool
The CJR Web site offers a keyword search tool for the Interim Report and the Final Report of the Chief Justice's Working Party on Civil Justice Reform.  The search tool supports keywords search of both English and Chinese.

How to Search
You could conduct your search by using the option of (i) search any of these words or (ii) search all of these words.

"Any of these words" search returns to you all pages containing the provided keywords.  Should 2 keywords are entered, the tool returns the pages containing either keyword.  It is useful for an initial search with an eye on a wider scope in evaluating the potential scope of relevant pages.

"All of these words" search returns to you all page containing all the provided keywords in a single page.  Should 2 keywords are entered, the tool returns the pages containing both keywords.  It is useful for a refined search with an eye on a narrower scope in finding out the relevant pages.

The search method is to be further enhanced to promote the convenience to find information.

Scope of Search
The tool searches the Final Report by default.  You are allowed to enlarge or narrow down the scope of search by highlighting an additional Final Report and/or Interim Report document, such as the Executive Summary of Final Report.  Multiple selection of documents, such as Full Report & Executive Summary is supported.

Search Results
The search results are shown to users with reference to the document name (Full Report or Executive Summary) and section no.  They are ranked in relevance, section sequence of the Final Report and section sequence of the Interim Report in pursuance to the Table of Contents of the report.  Should there be search results of pages falling into a same section, a record (row) of hits is shown for each relevant page with the same reference to section no. and document title.

The key words are highlighted in red for ease of reference.
